World Baseball Classic

Do yall realize that the World Baseball Classic is only but a week away?
Are you breathless in anticipation?
Indifferent?
Could not care less?
Think it's just wrong?

The World Series matters to me.
This is just unnecessary.

I'll give it a shot. I've enjoyed the NHL participation in the Olympics and World Cup. I think the WBC will be similar. Even though USA Basketball has come back to the pack a bit, they still carry most of, if not all the talent in any international competition with a few guys like Nowitzki and Ginobli sprinkled around. But the great thing about international hockey has been the fact that the talent is well distributed and many NHL teams have multiple players on different International teams. I think the baseball thing will be the same way. There is so much talent between North America, Latin America, and Asia. It should be fun, and I'm looking forward to it.

Difference is that most Americans will root for the USA in hockey and baseball.. but i dont know anyone who rooted for the USA basketball team.. I was rooting against the thugs that make up the NBA..
