  • Song ID help?

Several years ago BMW had an ad that was shown frequently during F-1 broadcasts; it was for their "used" cars.

I can only remember bits & pieces and think the refrain went something like this..."I want to praise you (like I should?).."

Can anyone help? It's a pain when you get some tune in your head & can't identify it!

"Praise You" by Fatboy Slim, I believe.

I'll defer to Media Boy for that one.

To tell you the truth, I couldn't name another Fatboy Slim tune if you threatened to blow up my computer...

Good one. The only reason I know that is I have the Housemartins album with "Happy Hour" on it, then when Fatboy Slim came out they said his real name was Norman Cook. Put 2 and 2 together and you have the answer.

London 0, Hull 4 (Now That's What I Call Quite Good!)

Ah...further trivia...what other band did the Housemartins spawn?

I was a big fan. The World's On Fire and The People Who Grinned Themselves to Death are great tunes.
