I would imagine the game will be much more competitive than their MNF tilt during the season. Big Ben has the rust off, and the Steeler defense gave the Colts offense at least a few problems after the initial bomb to Harrison. Still, the rested Colts are going to be a handful.

FWIW, the opening betting line is Colts -9.5

I'd say at most they gave the Colts a few problems.

Of the Steeler's five losses, the only game they were soundly beaten in was the Indy game. The other four were a combination of injuries or sloppy play. The Colts owned the Steelers for the most part.

On the other hand, Ben is mobile again and has the zip back in his throws now that the thumb is feeling a little better. If the defense gets their head out of their butts in the first half and lays off the emotional stupid crap, they won't be fighting from so far behind so quickly. Also, the Colts are coming off of two really crappy games followed by taking a week off. Sentimental baggage aside, the starters could be rusty in the beginning of the game which is going to be a benefit to the Steelers. Just like today, they hang in there and then wear the other team down. They are a rare team in that they are stronger at the end of almost every game than they are at the beginning.

I think it will be a better game than the first meeting but there is little doubt the Colts are the favorite. They are beatable and the Steelers may be the team that matches up with them the best, but it will still be a tall order to overcome Manning if his game is on.

Note to Colt offense. Let Troy stuff the ball in your face and take the 15 yards and ultimate touchdown.

After you win the game, take the game ball and stuff it up his a$$.

The Colts won't have any problems.

Hopefully they won't get the same officiating crew that was at the Steelers-Bengals game. They weren't very consistant on either side.

Also I hope your strong safety can make an open field tackle on the Bus. Ours got a little scared.

Hey, if the price is right...

Actually, I considered selling my tix (307, row 9), but I would have tried to sell them on a Colts message board with the stipulation that the buyer would have to meet me in Indy for the exchange, wearing at least three horseshoes and being able to answer moderately difficult Colts trivia (in addition to paying a crapload of money, of course).

I won't defend or attack the Steelers' typical style of play, but I think it's pretty clear that Kimo von Oellhoffen, in addition to having a great name, did not intentionally try to injure Palmer.

Don't worry about too many Steeler fans at the game, seeing what scalper prices are, they can't afford to go either.

God forbid that players try to tackle other players in football.

Agreed. It's dangerous and highly overrated.

How could anyone ever think putting a shoulder into someones knee and trying to bend it sideways would injure them?
