    Didn't know much about the man but I loved listening to him sing.

      "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine" is one classic song. Lou used to do Budweiser commercials too and really belt it out.

        Oh no. I just saw an ad for his telethon and was looking forward to it. Through one of those strange twists of life, he and my wife became good friends (she swears that's all) back in the '80s, he knew someone she worked for, that kind of thing. I never met him.

        Apparently he was a true gentleman and a kind human being.

        Sad news, now I have to tell her.

                Sad news. I clicked on here thinking somebody would have posted a link to some of his songs on audio. was hoping for a listen.
