Audio question - DirecTV vs XM

I now get a bunch of XM stations with my DTV package.

To my (lousy) hearing, they sound "better" than XM via my XM home system playing thru the same speakers.

Is it possible the DTV system has more fidelity?
Or am I just happy to be saving 7 bucks a month?

Road racing is doomed...what this country needs is a big new racetrack designed for automobiles instead of horses. C.G. Fisher

That's odd, I have just the exact opposite problem. Some of my DirecTV XM channels sound worse through my decent sound system than they do running through my car stereo.
