You can't get "sick" from the cold weather in less than 24 hours. In fact, you're not going to get sick unless you are exposed to a virus.
Unless these people got hypotermia or frostbite (in 50-degree weather), or start actually showing symptoms in the next couple weeks, they haven't a leg to stand on.
I love how people think that being in the chilly weather gives them a cold.
No weather forecasts are ever guaranteed, even if confidence level is high. Even a 99% probability will miss 1% of the time. That's the best anybody can do when predicting highly complex events.Comment

This clearly is just a lawyer's bad idea. Has nothing to do with the Houston fans. Class actions are viewed by many lawyers as "retirement" cases, and are often dreamed up by lawyers first, and then they go shopping for clients willing to put their names on it. Most likely she got the idea when Garner said that he thought the commissioner did not take fan comfort into account when deciding the roof should be open.Comment
