One of the very first people to have ever made me cry from laughter, incredibly funny comedian. Also a very good man. RIP sir.

Died after a 9 year battle with cancer that no one knew about.

Never learned to drive. Marvelous comedian.

He was a frequent guest on David Spade's half hour late night show on Comedy Central that ran before the shutdown where Spade would host 3 comedians and they would discuss current events not dealing in politics. Spade always said he wasn't smart enough to discuss politics.
But I can attest, Norm was pretty funny pert near the end.

He was SNL's Weekend Update guy during the time of the show's lowest ratings.

And was hilarious as I recall! Back in college, I’d make a point of tuning in half-past the hour to catch Weekend Update. I believe that’s consistently the best part of the show, then and now.
