    Holy s%@#!

That car reminds me of a woman I once knew. If they can pull that off with everybody, they won't be able to build them fast enough!!

KO, I thought you meant people that were already Camaro fans, not some that will be now!

Who else is thinking of the Dead Milkmen song?

        I like it.

        Very retro.

you could have told us this was just some guys "vision" of the next generation Camaro. I thought somehow I'd slept through the announcement that it was coming back. Glad that's not the case

It does look like a pretty good design...

B!tchin'! Man, I'm so hungry for a good ol' American muscle car. Was searching the 'net for pictures of the C6 Vette today - lot of "concepts", but still nothing definitive. In other words, I have no idea what it'll look like.

Ever wonder why guys like us don't run the design studios and choose product for the big 3? Cars like that Camaro would go a long way toward shoving the Euros back across the pond.

And this is coming from a (former) bimmerphile.

I'm actually rather unimpressed with the look of the 'new' GTO. It just looks like another boring Pontiac. Although, to be fair, I haven't seen one in person yet. It just seems, on first look, that Pontiac could've taken a bit more of a chance when they decided to reintroduce the nameplate. I think they added too much water to the mixture. But, GM has a long history of playing it safe.

Will the GTO really be back if it isn't built in the U.S.A. and there's no Hood tach??

I saw the GTO at last spring's Houston Auto Show. We were kept a few feet back. It is not a replacement for GM's F-bodies. It is what the high performance version of a Grand Prix or Monte Carlo SS should have been for the last decade. It is a sedan and not a pony car.

GM still owes us a pony car replacement.

What really sucks about the Holden... er... I mean GTO is the right hand drive and shifting with the left hand...

Well, if they really do start delivery in December, there will be one tubbed with a 4 link and dropped into the weeds rumbling around Houston within a month. It doesn't take long for that to happen around here.

Yeah, there may be a few aftermarket pieces for that 5.7 out there. Hopefully the start of a resurgence of GM hotrods.
