Probably the biggest news of the day. I guess I will not get to see the long anticipated sequel of "True Lies 2" that Cameron planned on making. Governor Schwarzenegger. I saw the clip on Fox News when he went door-to-door. I wonder if he asked the lady that answered the door if she was Sarah Connor?
Arnold has been labled by policiticians and journalists as being a liberal Republican, and Senator Diane Feinstein as a conservative Democrat. Just think in the movie "Demolition Man", set in the future, he is President Schwarzenegger...

Everybody loves a freak show! In the words of Doc Austin: WHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

That said, Arnold has a good chance in this freak show. He has been politically active and is very smart, but I've heard that some stuff might come out that would put him in a different light.

Do you mean that interview he gave early on in his career when he excitedly talked of coming when he works out, coming when he poses, coming when he wins, etc.??

I'm just getting use to fense climbing ...

The freak show that is the upcoming Cali Governors race is an embarassment...Arnold, Arianna, Larry Flynt, Gary Coleman...who's next Kermit the Frog? I am uncomfortable with the whole recall process, but if it is allowed to proceed, one hopes the California citizenry comes to it's senses and elects someone whoe has half a brain in their head. Arnold has an unbelievable Q rating due to his Hollywood starpower. But has anyone noticed that he is unwilling to offer ANY ideas of what he intends to do? It's all press quotes and sound bites...

This election has the potential to become very dirty. The skeletons in Arnold's closest are going to be on full display. From a Nazi father to drugs to infidelity...stand back...

I really wonder if Arnold has thought this out. His wife cannot be too excited about an election. Arnold, when he was single, was quite the slut. Even in his books about bodybuilding he wrote about days of lifting, drinking, lifting, and lots of sex with the groupies. Could get ugy. Throw in the steroid issue and you have a former drug user enforcing the laws of the state. What Arnold's excuse, " I didn't inject!" Just look at him back then, he was huge. Drug test not necessary. I'm not sure he will have the cake walk everybody thinks he will have. His lack of expereince and undetermined agenda and platform will be a large hurdle. How do decide to run if you don't know what you stand for except I'm not Gray Davis?

You mean that's a problem now?

All the freaks in that race and you want to talk about Arnie?!?!

This is California for God's sake. They won't care about drugs and/or womanizing.

                    He's popular. He's a movie star. He's handsome. He's the Governor.

He may be a Republican but he's hardly a conservative. His single best trait is that he believes in the power of the people rather than the Democrats' desire to have everybody on the dole.

Whatever. California will get what it deserves.

If it looks like he is going to lose, I would bet pretty good coin that Davis will resign, thus assuring that a Democrat remains in power (his Lt. Guv)

That's pretty simplistic even for you, TD!
