Absolutely inexcusable...that being said, the fan in the stands seems to a real class act..

He's probably a douche but that doesn't excuse the behavior. He will hear much worse at the next level....which is less interested in him now than they were last year.

Obviously the fan made a very personal and uncalled comment to get that kind of reaction. Not good behavior by either person.

Apparently this is the same fan:

The fan seems to be a clown, but that video is from four years ago.

This incident for Smart comes just a week or two after he stomped a chair to death after coming out of the game. Anger management issues, eh?

For me that would say this is typical behavior from that fan. Will be interesting to see what was said that caused Smart to not live up to his name.

              Obviously?

What part of the video makes it obvious that the fan made "a very personal and uncalled" comment?

I didn't say it gave Smart an excuse.

As a player you have to keep your cool, but I wouldn't lose any sleep if one of these "fans" had to pick a couple teeth out of his throat. I'd like to see them say something on the street rather than the safety of the stands.

Then again, Marcus Smart's reaction might be typical behavior for him seeing as how he has shown his emotions over the last few weeks.

No way to know, but Smart's snap reaction makes me think it's pretty likely he crossed some sort of line.

                          Both seem to be true.

The fan's name if Jeff Orr and TT even calls him their super fan,,,, a real jerk

Smart has shown a real weakness for his pro career if he can be had like this...

At this rate Ron Artest might look like a saint by comparison some day.
