For some reason I found it a little difficult to get excited over Indiana's first ever win against Penn State...
Yay... We're 1-16 vs Penn State!
Yes 1-16 is better than 0-17 but what keeps me from getting carried away is that it's still 1-16.
I don't really care about the all-time record, although it was good to finally beat them.
This game was big because if we have any hope of going to a decent bowl, we have to hold serve at home....and initially, the PSU game looked like the hardest home game we had. Now, that may not prove to be true, but I certainly like our chances a lot more now, than I did previously.
In fact, I'm really interested in this MSU game.

Yep. For some reason, they've been encouraging that all year via the big screen in the end zone. The 'Jaws" music is played, and an IU player is shown on the big sceen doing the Gator Chomp clearly encouraging fans to join in. Bizzare. Maybe Purdue can do FSU's Tomahawk Chop next year!
Perfect day for the Indiana FBS schools. Purdue was idle, but IU, ND, and BSU were all underdogs, and all won.
How about that backdoor cover of the 6.5pt line for Ohio State?!!
We used to do a kinda "pull down" type move for 3rd downs, where you would reach both arms up, and pull down to your chest (?).
This year they instituted the Jaws theme, and the gator chomp for some reason.
The first down march was legislated out because our offense moves too quick.
