  • College Football Week 3

If we’re doing it for the NFL, probably should for College too

This week’s version of the Game of the Century takes place in College Station.

Alabama at Texas A&M 3:30 EST CBS
No need to say anything more except what will Corso use as a headgear if he picks A&M?.

A couple other games to keep an eye on:

UCLA at Nebraska 12:00 EST ABC
Both teams can start to make some noise as an outsider in the early BCS discussions with a win, eventually UCLA has @Stanford and @Oregon on consecutive weekends coming up. Nebraska is pretty light until November.

Tennessee at Oregon 3:30 EST ABC
Might be a nice barometer for Oregon to keep in the back of your mind, as the Vols will eventually play S. Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama this season.

Ohio St at Cal 7:00 EST Fox
All of a sudden a huge trap game for the Buckeyes with Braxton Miller’s status questionable. Cal gave Northwestern all they could handle, yet had to eek out a win against Portland State.

Ole Miss at Texas 8:00 EST Long
Texas has a new DCoordinator, ex-Michigan guy Greg Robinson who under Rich Rod had the Michigan Defense ranked 82nd and 110th in all the land under his watch.
Mack Brown has his fingers crossed.

Wisconsin at Arizona St 10:30 EST ESPN
    Very nice Big 10-Pac12 matchup.

In honor of Dave Diles and Slippery Rock will include IU for the faithful around here,
Bowling Green at Indiana 12:00 EST ESPNU

Texas Tech v TCU is a pretty good appetizer tonight on ESPN. We should get a better idea where both programs stand.

Going to be a fun day. Thanks for listing these, I've been busy and only knew the Badger game and the Alabama game. tOSU should win but it could be a good game. UW has a tough matchup (and BYU later in the year is alo looking tough).
      Eff LBD!

Not an Aggie fan at all, but neither am I a Bama fan. So, I will pull for a former Big 12 team to beat an arrogant SEC team. Especially since many SEC fans don't see A&M as being worthy of being in their conference.

But I would be very happy to see both teams with 6-6 records at the end of the season.

My Baylor Bears are off this weekend.
After years of fighting and a split, guess what, we are all IndyCar

October will always be a sad racing month for me. RIP Greg and Dan. You both were great and we miss you.

TD, you are naughty (but funny).

I like games in the desert, looking forward to Wisconsin/Arizona St.

And as much as I don't care for Manzeil, I will probably end up rooting for A&M. I hate the thought of Bama playing in the title game again.

Good god the officiating for last nights TCU/TT game was really bad. Tiger Woods Obama did a really bad job.

Enjoy them while you can. Next weekend is going to be very lean, schedule your chores.

I'm ready to see them play a decent team. Of course that will have to wait even longer, since next week's opponent isn't much.

I hope their defense is solid. They could win a lot of games this year if they can keep teams under 30 points.

It was like they hired the Oklahoma-Oregon refs.

You don't have to care for the Red Tide to want to see Johnny Football get his butt kicked...

Ah, not that I would set up any kind of a fund for such a purpose.

Bama will hammer the Aggies and the TCU/Texas Tech game was a prime example of "homer!"
And yes ND should have their way against the Boilers.
                              Have a very blessed day!
