Make sure you have them on a good leash or they will run off and rub themselves inappropriately on a tree.

    National Geographic had these

Find out how, and why, the stick insect uses its remarkable twig-like camouflage to blend in with its surroundings.

I don't know Micheal... But your walking stick looks too spindly to be of much use on the hiking trails.

nor anything on those bones - she makes "Twiggy" (my age is showing) look fat. That is an example of "death warmed over."

In my younger days I wondered what sort of wimp or infirm person used a walking stick? Last year at 48 I felt sort of bad that my dad got seemed to like or need a walking stick so much on his hikes on his hilly land.

This year at 49 I find the 4 foot pole I found a few weeks ago to be a nice aid as I hike the same hilly land. Never knew what I was missing. Maybe the dive I took in the spring while trying to scramble down a steep slope and when the rotten tree I grabbed broke off, is still in my mind.

I still don't let anyone see me use the stick. But I know where it's parked.

    This is my walking stick...

Although most refer to it as the ugly stick that I was beaten with.

As to the kind you use on a trail, I've had mine for 18 years. And the one made out of wood, I've had that one just about as long.
