I found them to be very helpful on my hikes last month in the mountains of Colorado....................................... Oh, the bug variety. My bad. Oh well, I also used my walking stick to kill any bug that got in my way. After years of fighting and a split, guess what, we are all IndyCar
October will always be a sad racing month for me. RIP Greg and Dan. You both were great and we miss you.

What bugs me about walking sticks is if there isn't a leather strap at the top or an emerging branch your hand slides down whenever you have to put pressure on it. Even though the one I have now has the leather strap and is all rustic and natural looking I'm in the market for one that has carvings on it. You know like a lion's head or something more evil looking like a gargoyle to keeps the Vampires at bay...
Does anybody know if gargoyles have any power against Zombies because I don't want to be bothered by them either.
A dragon would be cool...
But none of these...
Okay... Maybe the snake.Last edited by Frank Capua; 07-26-2013, 03:51 PM.

This is what I use. These Nordic walking poles.
Davydd (Anglicized Welsh name for David...that's all)
Certified BPT Taster Pursuing Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches
Long lost Speedway Sparkplug thrashing about in the deep woods of Minnesota

Back in the early 90's during a hike around Spooner Lake, up near Lake Tahoe, NV we saw a walking stick that was about 10 to 12 inches long. I think that was a once in a lifetime moment."When it's cold outside, I've got the month of May" - The Temptations

That wasn't a walking stick Snow... that was a ruler.
Or possibly a walking stick for this ruler...
Just don't confuse him with this guy...
Cause he's got sweet nunchuck skills.Last edited by Frank Capua; 07-27-2013, 12:29 PM.
