Salado, TX is in the direct path of a very large tornado right now.

Lots of folks need to watch the weather today but the threat is pretty high for western Iowa.

There were lots of warnings, but the tornadoes mostly missed cities and towns thank goodness.

Four in and around Louisville. Seems like a very active Spring, but that may just be memory bias towards recent events.

Andover, Kansas, got hit by tornadoes yesterday. There is some incredible footage on Twitter. Here is one video.

3 OU meteorology students killed in an auto accident after being out storm chasing. Their Tiguan hydroplaned and ended up getting hit by an 18-wheeler. I can appreciate the excitement that chasing brings, but there are too many folks out there chasing who probably shouldn't be...19, 20, and 22 years old. Gone too soon.

Was talking over the weekend with a couple who lived in Qatar for several years. Those sorts of temperatures but WITH high humidity since Qatar is surrounded by water. But at least they didn't have to wear all that gear. Thanks for your service.

Had our first 60 degree day yesterday. It's marvelous.

Landing in Anchorage at midnight last week. Days are getting longer now, gets fully light by 4:30.

The calendar has flipped to June, the worst month (IMO) to be a Tucsonan. Haven't had any rain since March 29th...
