I woke up at 3:30AM looked at the freezing rain, then sleet then snow that was everywhere and said, "I'm getting too old for this. I'm going back to bed."
Can’t get any respite. I am in South Padre Island, Texas and it got down to 32F with 30 mph winds. So I thought I may have made a mistake by not going directly to the Southwest but then I checked Tucson and they were going below freezing. No snow here though. For 11 straight days and 4,000 miles we drove through snow and below freezing weather to get here and enjoy just two days of shorts and T-shirt weather (but not swimming) here.

I was entertained yesterday. First, the mail woman couldn’t get up the hill on our unplowed road. I went out to help and knew where to quickly shovel as the snow drag was stopping progress. She backed up and got a run. Made it halfway. I asked her if she could do the exact thing again. She enthusiastically answered “YES”! I shoveled a little more. As you can see from the “other shot” you come downhill on dirt into a 90 left then uphill. She backed it halfway up that hill and nailed it and had it sideways and opposite lock with the throttle punched!!! So cool to see as she made it up to the top to deliver the mail! Attitude baby! We exchanged stories and off she went.
then this clown gets stuck down there. Didn’t want any advice or help. Didn’t want water, hot chocolate or coffee. Fine. He called a service crew to winch him up the hill.
Good all ages entertainment from the comfort of our home. 🤪

Yeah...we had two nights below freezing, saw 27 at our house. But by the middle of next week it'll be in the mid-70's It's a desert so it does cool off at night, but southern AZ beats a LOT of places this time of the year.
I had a colonoscopy Friday morning. My only concern was that I would complete my prep and they would cancel my procedure.
Hardest part of Friday morning was getting down the drive and into the street. After that it was all about not making the wrong choice on our route.
I got there and all the doctors and nurses were there. And they were all needed they worked on me for 3 hours. That's how long it apparently takes to remove 13 polyps.
They got me home. Feeling better now I just don't remember Saturday.
