  • Brett Favre streak over?

So reports say Brett won't start and play unless he can finish the game. Who thinks he will be out there against the Giants to start the game?

I'll be surprised if he's not out there for the first series just to hand the ball off. That will keep the streak alive and buy him another week to heal up a bit. If he can't go the next week, then I don't think they'd start him.

He was throwing the ball but with pain in practice Friday. They said they won't know unti game time.

He'll get an extra day to get healthy. The Giants can't get into Minneapolis and is currently in a hotel in Kansas City. The game has been postponed until Monday.

I agree with this. I can't see his streak ending otherwise.

I heard only Fox regional, airing just in Minnesota and New York.

Historically, these delayed games have also been shown live on Sunday Ticket.
No weather forecasts are ever guaranteed, even if confidence level is high. Even a 99% probability will miss 1% of the time. That's the best anybody can do when predicting highly complex events.

He might get more than that, the roof of the Metrodome collapsed from the weight of the snow.

On FOX in the NY and Minnesota markets, also DirecTV Sunday Ticket. NFL Network will Re-Air at 12:01 Tuesday am. This NY Giants fan in the Philly market will have to follow that little ball and arrows on NFL.com and listen to streaming audio. I'll record the reair.
