So what are the current Vegas odds that he's in a Titan's uniform next September?

I believe Fisher is in last year of his contract. Houston would be good fit, lol
After years of fighting and a split, guess what, we are all IndyCar

October will always be a sad racing month for me. RIP Greg and Dan. You both were great and we miss you.

I've been mad at Coach Fisher for not playing Vince enough his year. And being dumb enough to think Kerry Collins still belongs in the NFL. But then you hear about Vince missing meetings and being late for practice, and begin to understand why Fisher would have a quick hook. He's trying to show that nobody gets a pass on the little things regardless of being the starting quarterback.

Too bad all this drama has cost the team a couple games. They could have (should have) made the playoffs. They're high on this 5th round kid at QB, Rusty Smith, a very good arm. But he was supposed to be a multi-year project. It's going to be ugly. We'll probably end up with Chris Simms or some other lame retread coming in. Season over.

I don't know who's going to survive this one. Bud Adams may finally dump his boy Jeff. But I find it hard to believe Fisher will have VY as his starter again. If he won't, he may end up fired. Bud wants Vince... Fisher also has some other issues. His defense has not been up to par. Which makes his choice to promote Chuck Cecil (when we lost Schwartz to be Detroit's head coach) not look very good. Cecil appears to be out-coached by the offensive coordinators this year. Fisher has to be on thin ice.

Too bad. I thought they had a solid team coming in to the season. I felt VY was really becoming a weapon. But not enough maturity I suppose. And maybe some of it is Fisher's fault. Last year it surely was, when it was clear VY had improved (looking at pre-season), but Fisher still rode Kerry Collins and his awful play until the team was 0-6. Vince made Fisher look bad by going 8-2 the rest of the way.

Vince Young is a debacle, the total opposite of what an NFL QB should be. I loved it when everybody and their brother jumped on the VY bandwagon towards the end of last season when he "led" the titans to I think 6 straight victories when there was absolutely no pressure win. Now what? He is a joke.

If Bud Adams sides with VY over Fisher, Fisher should say BUH Bye. Fisher would have no problem finding a job (umm Cowboys?).

VY has played well when healthy this year. He's pretty good. I don't think his play makes him a joke. It's the other stuff.

I'm still not upset we didn't draft Fisher's choice of Leinart that year instead of VY. (I wanted Cutler...)

I was curious what Titans fans may actually think of the move. Would you rather keep VY or Fisher if it comes down to that? I've wondered how VY would've fared had McNair stayed there his rookie season.

I don't blame you for your thoughts on Leinart. Leinart never impressed me too much while I lived in AZ. My own personal opinion (and I could be completely wrong), I thought he was too close to Hollywood and liked to party too much. I was glad the Cards went with Warner over him and it paid off quite nicely for them on that end.

I think it would be ridiculous if the Titans chose VY over Fisher. If that is the case, I don't know how Fisher could stay @ the Titans.

VY is so immature and has poor work ethic, why would a franchise want to choose that over a proven head coach who fields competitive teams year in and year out?

I thought I remember reading on profootballtalk that Fisher almost got out of Tennessee last year, saying that the Titans breached his contract with Adams trying to tell him who to start. Should be interesting to see how it plays out.

Definitely interesting. Just don't understand why Bud Adams loves VY so much.

I don't know. Seems somewhat split around here. More on Fishers side I'm sure but there's plenty who think he's been here too long, and just one deep playoff run. And that took the music city miracle to beat Buffalo, when the Titans were heavily favored. Lot's of early playoff losses.

I've been a VY fan as a player. Have defended him numerous times to fans here who didn't think he was any good. I think he is decent. Hasn't had many weapons. This year with better receivers I expected a good year, but our top two receivers both got hurt. And VY also has been hurt. So it hasn't been a good offense like I expected. Maybe his ceiling isn't as high as I hoped. If I was the coach he'd never play for me again after mouthing and walking out like that, but some great coaches manage to get past that stuff.

I'm actually not going to mind if either of them leaves at this point. They both participated in fouling up a promising season. I guess I'd rather if Adams kept Fisher. But if he does, he knows he faces another rebuilding job unless they trade for a good quarterbacxk. And Adams is at the age he doesn't seem like he will wait for that. I won't be surprised if he keeps VY and brings in a new staff. I don't think that will work either though. As far as I'm concerned they could fire both guys and I won't complain. I think Fisher is solid but not great. He could do something with the talent in Dallas though... And an ESPN guy (the balding guy with the glasses?) thinks if he's fired he'd end up there. But also thought he won't be fired.

Vince showed up today for the medical staff to look at his thumb. After a short while someone from the team told him he had to leave the facility... Amazing. I wouldn't handle things like that. Seems sure it's the end of him as a Titan if they won't even let him do rehab or get examined by the staff.

If the Texans can Kubiak, would love for Jeff to come back to Houston and coach the Texans. If Bud sides with the baby Young over Fisher, it further proves what a joke Bud Adams is.

What the heck is wrong with people???
                          He texts an apology?

                          What a freaking man.

After reflecting upon Sunday's events, Titans quarterback Vince Young texted coach Jeff Fisher an apology on Tuesday for his actions and words, a source close to Young told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
