Nice nostalgia, but it also points out a few of their current problems. Their current offerings pale in comparison.

Such style and flair in their best selling family hauler. No one is ever going to restore or collect 20-50 yr old 2011 Malibus or Equinoxes.

I especially like the one about the cup holder.

Pretty sad that even Chevy thinks the last vehicle worthy of note was built about 40 years ago. Things turned to crap when they let the accountants run things instead of car guys.

It would be nice if they could once again build something - ANYTHING - that evoked an emotional reaction.

So long as everyone is building SUVs, Vans, and Jelly Bean cars, no one is going to venture out into the extreme.

I think a '57 Belair 2D hardtop look-a-like dropped on a modern chassis would sell like hot cakes.

Take look at the 2011 Hyundai Sonata.

But it would drag down the fleet CAFE mileage numbers. Which in the end is why they all look like the same boring aerodynamic bubble shape.

                          Very cool.

I'm fortunate enough to have grown up at the tail-end of this era but I'm thankful I got to see it. Most of these cars despite not being brand-new as I was growing up, were still seen regularly driving on the streets...and not just seen at car shows.

One of the first cars I ever drove - My Greataunt's '57 chevy belair 2-door in a cemetary before I ever had a license. She sold the car about a month before I got my license.

Growing up (I'm 31), my family's daily driver was a '54 Chevy. Before that it was a '50 Chevy. My folks are car people.

Soul. Verve. Spirit. It matters. Find it, dammit! Will your cars be as "sophisticated" as some? Nope. But they'll be cool as HELL!
