You going to the john, or do you think you can hold it all day? And are you Clark Griswold?
    It's a Hoosier thing, you wouldn't understand...

Sounds like a great way to fill a day --- AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT MARRIED!

I would probably be divorced by Monday if I spent a Saturday like that.

Yes I am married to a wonderful woman for the last thirty years. She has offered to be the DD for me and my golfing buddies if we want to partake in the Brewfest.

You seem to have a plan in place. If you can stick to the itinerary then I'll bet you can do this....

That being said, I had two conversations with my husband this morning about how his lack of preparation for his day did not constitute an emergency on my part.

              I applaud your indomitable spirit.
My thoughts are that your zymurgy will take longer than planned....
There's lots of sanitizing, cleaning, etc.
I suggest that you don't try to finish your second batch at 1:00 AM. See how you feel after the 1st batch...If you start to get tired, you might be tempted to take a shortcut or possibly make a mistake. (Speaking from personal experience...)

              YMMV.
So long, and thanks for all the fish!

During this time you can also have the Big 10 Network on and watch IU vs. Western Kentucky

It is early in the season but I think evidence is neither plays defense so could be a lot of points up

A big thank you to all who offered encouragement and support for my Saturday adventure. I read your reply and believe it or not took your advise.

First of all mother nature threw me a curve ball on Saturday with almost one inch of rain. While on my way to Menards my golfing buddies called and canceled the golf for the day. HHHmmm time to shift to Plan B. Bought my surround sound wires and miscellaneous other supplies and went to the Man Cave (In reality it my garage's basement) and hooked up the speakers and the wired the TV and the stereo.

I then began my quest to brew two batches for the day but soon came to my senses when I read GoodStone69 advise and back down to only one batch. I got everything ready and then went to the Iowa City Brewfest. Wow over 300 craft beers serve!!! Was able to get my son to come pick us up and was home by 500.

Bought a new smoker last week and decided to try and make Pork Chop at a low heat. Started those at the same time I began boiling the water for the beer. Was flipping through the various FB games on TV with my new Surround Sound. Excellent!!!! Even Watched a little bit of IU and WK on the Big Ten Network. Finished my beermaking about 900 and cleaned everything up. Now I am ready for Iowa Football and IICR racing life is good. S*** I forgot about the Pork Chops. Charred. Oh well.

Back to FB. Wait a minute its dark in here. Oh it is 3:00 in the morning. What did I miss. I guess a lot. My wife said she came down stairs at half time and I was snooring on the couch so she turned off the TV and lights and went to bed.

Sorry If I let anyone down. I did try. But thanks for your support. I will try again.
