  • Wisconsin in April

Coming down at 2" per hour right now up here. Pulling plows off the roads until THEY can see to do their work.

...I've got the day off work and am lounging in a pair of shorts with the back sliding door open. A sunny 66-degrees here in Indy.

          Sorry Cheeseczar!
I wasn't real thrilled with our early March blizzard this year.

It's sunny and warm here in Cincy this morning.

Yeah, but wait until tomorrow. Cloudy, windy, highs in the mid 40s. And I gotta go to a wedding.
No weather forecasts are ever guaranteed, even if confidence level is high. Even a 99% probability will miss 1% of the time. That's the best anybody can do when predicting highly complex events.

I'm two or three hours South of you and it's just rained for the last two days. No snow.

I evacuated Minnesota last night. I'm heading back to Indy via Iowa City/Peoria, rather than Madison. Have fun up there!

I'll trade ya...Shell just got back to the house after sitting in the shelter for a couple of hours. Several funnels passed by, one of which touched down just a couple of miles west of the shopping district of the town of Dickson. That coulda been ugly...

We're all hoping the sirens don't go off downtown. That means everybody in our building will have to go to the basement...which is where I am right now...

That's the story here, as well. Being the rocket scientist that I am, I scheduled field work for yesterday and got to tromp around outside while it poured with 30-40 mph wind gusts. Woo Hoo.

Have fun, Jeff. We are only supposed to get a small amount tomorrow. I'm hoping we get nothing.

                            80 and sunny.

Going to check out my fly fishing gear. Going to hit the flats tomorrow. Bonefish and Permit beware.

Today is a beautiful day here in north Texas. Yesterday could have been too except for the big tree on top of my neighbors new pickup and the roof of the place where I get my oil changed sitting out in their parking lot. My power was out for 6 hours and my cable out for 15 hours. But it could be worse, some businesses are still without power this morning. No injuries or fatalities though so that's obviously a big plus.
