Today's country reminds me of 70's Southern Rock.

i listen to xm12 alot. i love it.

i was born in 1971 and never listened to much of anything outside of pop/top40 type of garbage until the mid to late 80's.

anyway, i am not trying to force anyone into listening to george strait.

i just thought there might be some fans of his music on here that would like to know xm17 is "all things strait" for april and may.

The Canyon Cowboy stuff is a field recording BTW with the new Zoom H2 - does a pretty amazing job for what it is... up to 4channel recording in one tiny little box - and can be mixed for 5.1 surround
