Oh Oh! Suffering Flashbacks!

TCM is showing "Alice's Restaurant" right now and it just dawned on me that I haven't seen that movie since it first came out . It's bringing back a rash of memories - some good, some not so good . After listening to the song many, many times over the years, I'd forgotten how dark and depressing the movie was.

On a positive note, the previous movie was "Hair", and all I can say is Beverly D'Angelo is worth the price of admission .

I probably would have stumbled across that, but I caught an episode of The Axemen instead. Used to live in logging country, knew some guys, but never had the privilege to work in the woods.

Now I know what I missed.
