  • Patrick Swayze

Pancreatic cancer. My buddy's wife just died from it 2 months ago. Watched my nephews dad die from it about 10 years ago.

Mean stuff. I wish him the best.

I've always like him. Not necessarily all his movies, but he's always seemed like a good Joe.

    I wish him well.

Pancreatic Cancer has the lowest survival rate of all cancers. It's not looking good for Swayze.

Ah, there's nothing more exciting than science. You get all the fun of sitting still, being quiet, writing down numbers, paying attention... Science has it all.

Yes. That's a bad one. Usually detected late.

I might be wrong but I'm thinking this is what Roger Holdeman, who owned Winchester Speedway, had. He did not last long unfortunately.

...I've never really been a big Patrick Swayze fan however due to his illness I've become a fan of his. Cancer sucks.

In "Roadhouse" you can see both him and Jeff Healy.

Pancreatic cancer also got Frank Zappa I believe.

                      Cancer sucks.

...I had forgotten about Healy being in that movie. All due respect to both, Roadhouse was a terrible movie.

Yep. By the time they found my dad's it was way too late. Watched him go in the fall of 1987. Age 60, way too young.

I think that movie pretty much killed Swayze's career. I could be wrong. Was "Ghost" made before or after?
