DST effect: Buy booze til 4 a.m. Sunday
The state's Alcohol and Tobacco Commission will allow the sale of alcohol until 4 a.m. local time on Sunday due to the start of Daylight Saving Time in Indiana.
Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. on Sunday as clocks move ahead by one hour.
Alcohol sales normally end at 3 a.m.
The Commission is also reminding Indianapolis residents that there will be no alcohol sales next Tuesday in the 7th Congressional district. Polls will be open for a special election to select a replacement for the late Rep. Julia Carson. Polls close at 6 p.m.
