If this isn't a personal attack would you please clarify where we're putting the line at this point? I'd like to know because this sort of thing really pisses me off and if it's okay to address other posters as such I would enjoy the chance to tell a few folks how I really feel.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to pretend that my absence would make a whit of difference to the forum itself or anyone on it but I've had the epiphany that I enjoy the sport better without this sort of thing. Trackforum decorum, eh? Gotcha.

I really do understand that there can't be mods all over everything 24/7 and I do generally enjoy my discussions with 95% of the race fans here. Guess I'm just disappointed.

Did you try the report to mod button?

      Only twice.

Like I said, I know they can't be everywhere 24/7 and I also managed to overcome my desire to go off on the person who posted that. It's still crap, though.

Obviously the sport is something we're all passionate about or we wouldn't be here. I'm just not sure how that passion translates into it being okay to be an ******* towards someone just because of a differing viewpoint. I don't expect any less of my self than I would anyone else here.

This is nothing about a differing viewpoint. This is about denying irrefutable evidence.

Care to share with the group how many infractions you've had?

                    What's your point?

                    Edit: Clever. But not appreciated.

Bear in mind the posts in question took place in real time, not 5 hours after the event was over with every angle and illustration available. It seems entirely reasonable to me that two people can not only reach different conclusions looking at the same evidence but that they can do so without being ugly to one another. To me, that's the long and the short of it.

I appreciate the work DIA does and also the good humor of a good many TF contributors.

Report the post has always worked well for me. I've been poked in the eye a couple of times and there is some small satisfaction in seeing the post disappear. Other than that it's just racin' and just a forum...
