Someone pulled the series rules for 2011 and poll that was posted here. I would like to invoke FOIA. Even though this is a sponsored forum if that information is public you have no right to censor it.
Don't argue with idiots, it only makes you look stupid and infuriates the idiots.
The forum is privately owned, they have the right to do whatever they want (within the law, of course). I would give them the benefit of the doubt that they have good reasons for the deletion.

"You people worry too much. Strive for change. Root for your favorites. Enjoy the racing. Drop the flag." rev-ed, 3/04
What is frustrating is that this was for the benefit of all series fans and if series fans want to be sheep then so be it. It isn't my fight but if people are going to censor somebody when the only goal is to provide information that people want (90%)then I could really care less about TF. All I know is I printed my copy.

With a little creativity they can still be found by simply using Google...
Hint: from a different racing website that you are supposed to have to pay to use but if doing a google search and you get the link to the direct article, you often don't need to enter a username/password so said articles are thus free (hope that makes a little bit of sense haha)
Edit: after a brief skimming, I don't understand why they are not made public. Haven't seen anything in there controversial. They are really plain and wish I hadn't wasted 15 mins looking through them

Which is probably exactly why the links were pulled. But never mind that, throw 'em under the bus!

I don't mind that they were pulled. Not my website so I can't control it and I'm sure TF has their own reasons. Just thought I'd throw out how to find them because I know some people here are frothing at the mouth to see them. Unless you want to know when drivers are required to meet with the press or which tracks are approved for off-season testing, don't waste your time. (Unless I missed something
Yes they are the entire rule books... Just type the following into Google and it will link you directly there:
2011 IndyCar and Indy Lights Rule Books
(I don't think this is a violation of any TF policy to tell someone a search query for Google, but if it is please feel free to remove my post. I wasn't intentionally breaking any rules, just wanted to let people know how to find the rules if they so desire. Sorry in advance if this is against TF policy, not my intent!)
Edit: of note for some people, according to the published rule books, Indy will still only be 2 days of qualifying. I think Randy had alluded to the decision being up to Jeff Belskus in a recent interview.

I'm not a lawyer, but my best guess is copyright considerations were probably the reason. Someone who is a lawyer may care to comment.
